THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ku Noodle Restaurant Review:
Located just off of the casino, Ku Noodle has a bright and inviting ambience created via white tiles, tables and booths; mirrors bedecked with Asian writing; walls lined with Asian newspapers; and shelves filled with bags of rice. An ideal beginning is the Lucky 12, a sampling of the dim sum menu: shrimp and pork, pork and scallop and chicken and cloud ear mushroom. The crispy bao bun is a pleasing mix of textures with pork belly, pickled daikon, peanuts and cilantro. Not-to-be-missed hot noodle dishes are the dan dan mian, hand-cut noodles, spicy pork sauce, peanuts, cucumber and carrot; and the Treasure of the Sea hot pot, cellophane noodle soup with shrimp, scallop, Manila clams and bok choy. Another winner is the hakka fried rice, a savory mix of pork belly, Chinese sausage, chili oil, mushrooms, soy broth and fried egg that is mixed together by your server. The unique Taiwanese shaved ice dessert gives the impression of eating snow, and is customized with choices of toppings, sauces and flavored ice. A variety of Asian-style beverages includes saké, shochu, baijiu and cocktails such as the Nakamura blending cucumber vodka, saké, lime juice and cucumber water.
