Kua Aina Sandwich Restaurant Review: The attraction at this North Shore eatery is the relaxed surfer ambience and the good burgers, fat, juicy, flavorful and cooked to order. You can load yours up with bacon, cheese, pineapple or salsa. You’ll be a happy mess by the time you finish. People used to drive all the way to Haleiwa to eat at Kua Aina. Now there’s an outlet in town as well, though it lacks the relaxed North Shore setting. Also located at 1116 Auahi St., Honolulu, 808-591-9133. |
