L2 Restaurant Review: Nathan Dolente, who ran the locals' favorite Linoleum in the 70s, brings his spark to L2, and it's as if he never left. The food is comfort chic, with a mix of international flavors and first-rate, home-style cooking on the menu. Try the penne with rose sauce and prosciutto, the meatloaf or roasted crispy duck. Dolente calls it The New West Side Story, but this tale is as old as the hills: give the customers what they want, and they will flock to the door. Incidentally, the restaurant has a lovely private room upstairs for parties. |
