 La Coquina is open only September through June for Sunday brunch and as a Chef’s Table on Saturday evenings year round, so call ahead. If you're lucky enough to get in, the buffet is a treat with one of the most sumptuous spreads in Central Florida. Located in the busy Hyatt near Disney World, locals as well as tourists keep the pricey restaurant busy. The brunch selections stretch on and on, with everything from pancakes and waffles and made-to-order eggs to fresh fruit, pastries, and even sevruga caviar and fresh seafood. On Saturday evenings, at the elegant Chef’s Table right in the kitchen, chefs create haute cuisine courses---think lavender-honey-glazed lamb, Hawaiian tuna tartare and confit poached Chilean sea bass---while you watch.
