La Cruda is the Spanish phrase for hangover, but many people start the party here the night before. This happy, kitschy spot is divided into a café and cantina. The Mexican-influenced cuisine is substantial here, particularly the burritos that are wrapped in a choice of tortillas: flour, roasted tomato, spinach or chipotle pepper. Take a trip through the salsa bar to enhance your selection. The drinks are good here, especially a hair of the dog on the morning after. Try the spicy Bloody Maria.
