: La Ferme de Mon Père, My Father's Farm, was built by French chef Marc Veyrat as an hommage to his father, who had never been able to afford a farmhouse of his own. Located a stones throw away from the Alpine resort of Megève, the restaurant is constructed over cowsheds, pigsties, hen coops and stables, with glass panels set into the floors and walls that allow you to observe the animals as you eat. The rustic setting contributes to La Ferme's undeniable charm, but it is the refined and innovative fare that keeps customers coming back. Veyrat recently sold this establishment to Roger Zannier.
