Owners of this lakeside eatery have several advantages: a picturesque view from their windows and porch, a belly dancer on certain nights, and an interesting if somewhat exotic menu to tempt the jaded appetite. After all, the Washington metro area offers few Moroccan restaurants, and this is a real find. Kick off the meal with the Moroccan classic, the b’stilla, a layering of chicken pieces, nuts, eggs and spices wrapped in phyllo and baked. Paired with the other Moroccan classic, a bowl of harira (a vegetable soup with herbs), you have a complete meal. But if you stop there, you’ll miss such entrées as the lamb with raisins and almonds or the lamb tagine, both traditional dishes that have no Western parallels. Plus you can’t overlook the couscous dishes or the kebabs. So much food, you’ll think, and vow to return.
