La Taqueria Restaurant Review: With its distinctive whitewashed façade, street-side seating and gleaming tiles, La Taqueria is perhaps the most visually appealing bargain in the Mission. Yet no one comes for the décor; they line up for the burritos, quesadillas, tacos and perhaps the most authentic fruit drinks in the Bay Area. Despite prices built for a bare-bones taqueria, the carnitas cooked in lard are meltingly tender, the chorizo is spicy and lean and the carne asada is the best in the neighborhood. |
