| A la Turca is a gem. Not a bright shiny one, but a simple space with exotic food. The best way to try its delights is to have the combo platter for two. You get hummus, baba ghanouj, eggplant salad, ezme (a walnut, tomato and pepper dip), a white bean salad and dolmas (stuffed grape leaves). For dinner, have one of the lamb and beef shwarma or the lahmacun, A la Turca's version of a meat pizza without the heavy tomato sauce. |
