The Public House Collective’s Ryan Burke and Kenneth McCoy are behind La Ventura, offering coastal cuisine in a casual setting. Chef Peter Lipson (Empellón) created an all-day menu that ranges from a hot chicken sandwich to grilled octopus with olive, yucca and curry mayonnaise, and sunchoke kebabs seasoned with Jamaican jerk spices. To drink, expect beer, wine, spritzes, and options like the Sassafras blending Old Forester rye, Pimm’s, grapefruit cordial, honey, Bonal and Q Ginger Beer.
