| Lago serves tastefully executed, intriguing Northern Italian dishes and its kitchen is dedicated to fresh, seasonal ingredients. This Tremont outpost offers an open, casual --- yet fine dining --- experience with a touch of contemporary Cleveland flair. Menu highlights include the grilled scallops with a pancetta-corn ragù and truffle oil, a roasted chicken pizza with leeks and Gorgonzola, and roasted pork ravioli in a cilantro-ginger-perfumed broth. The wine list, which is 100 percent Italian, represents every region in Italy. If you’re craving a sweet post-meal nosh, try the chocolate cake with raspberry sauce; it’s decadent and rich in all the right ways. You can linger here if you dine early or late --- and if you do, consider enjoying an espresso --- but mid-evening the pace quickens with the area. |
