Lalita Restaurant Review

: The high ceilings, hardwood floors and painted jungle murals of this restaurant and bar make visitors feel as if they've stepped into another world. The grimy street outside fades as you come under Lalita's charm. Start with the stuffed angel wings filled with ground pork and rice noodles. Be sure to try Lalita's specialty: Thai beef jerky with a chile sauce. The dish has a smoky, spicy flavor. The house drinks are also worth a look, especially the Thai iced tea with rum and a dollop of coconut ice cream. A weeknight happy hour runs from 3 p.m.-7 p.m.
