LALLApalooza Restaurant Review: After-five revelers sip from an extensive martini menu, cooling down with the cucumber and gin-infused “spa-tini” or riding into the sunset on a classic Moscow Mule. Slip away to an oversize booth and order from the something-for-everyone American menu. From oysters to blue cheese-and-bacon stuffed steak bites, appetizers cover the bases. There's pizzazz in the ahi ceviche. Unfortunately, other offerings aren't quite as gutsy. The artichoke pizza let us down with its bland, bagel-like dough and meager toppings. Skip dessert: A brownie with the consistency of pudding is far from chewy, and crème brûlée is as average as any other. Most patrons opt to drink their Chocolate Cake: Frangelico, Absolut Vanilla and sugared lemon.
