THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Landry's Seafood House Restaurant Review

: Dining in this bayou-inspired chain restaurant transports one to a calming tropical setting, even when the brick-walled place is packed, which is most of the time. Trees, plants, track lighting, gas lamps, ceiling fans and walls adorned with seafaring scenes enhance the ambience, with a reminder you’re in Las Vegas --- a colorful mural featuring Elvis and a showgirl, among the bayou characters. Starters such as fried calamari topped with Parmesan are also served in the bar. We like the oysters Rockefeller baked with cream cheese, spinach, bacon and anisette. Shrimp, fresh fish, oyster po' boys and Landry's Gold Burgers with cheddar are served with steak fries and onion rings. Imaginative fish preparations include cranberry pecan-crusted mahi mahi with lemon butter, sun-dried cranberries, wild rice risotto and asparagus; salmon chargrilled on a cedar plank; and fresh catch Pontchartrain --- broiled tilapia filets, lump blue crab, mushroom ragoût, white wine cream sauce, rice pilaf and seasonal vegetables. The extensive wine list complements the hearty fare. Save room for the signature bananas Foster pastry.
