L'Anne Restaurant Review

: French Colonial Vietnamese fare inspires at least part of the menu at this classy west suburbanite where, when the kitchen is on, the food is rock solid. When available, try the inviting roasted chicken, mustard-crusted lamb, grilled chicken marinated in saké or Vietnamese barbecue pork. There has certainly been a move toward what’s more familiar to the masses, though, these days, so don’t be surprised to find a Kobe burger with jalapeños and tempura onions, or pike in bacon-caper sauce. Finish, when possible, with lemon grass crème brûlée.
