THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lark Creek Blue Restaurant Review:

Lark Creek Blue is the sea-centric, steak-augmented concept the Lark Creek Restaurant Group launched in their former Yankee Pier Santana Row space. The high-ceilinged setting brings a friendly format to the area, with sidewalk seating, indoor dining or something in between by way of large French doors. The menu of sustainable seafood includes a prominent raw bar, and raw choices such as halibut ceviche are highlights. To start, diners can share a sizable ("keeper") or oversized ("whopper") sampler of ocean-fresh selections such as oysters, shrimp and ceviche, including an edible garnish of periwinkles. Main courses focus on seafood, perhaps mild takes on Southern classics such as blackened catfish and shellfish gumbo. Flavorful steaks with a choice of sauces and a smattering of other items offer sufficient options for those not seeking sea fare. The wine list and by-the-glass offerings are reasonable, though pairing guidance from the staff is limited. For dessert, opt for the seasonal crisp, or try the classic lemon meringue pie --- the former Yankee Pier staple was added to Lark Creek Blue's menu when a customer refused to return until the pie did.
