Las Palmas Restaurant Review: This mural-decorated spot is a favorite for after-work margaritas, but it also draws a decent lunch crowd. They come to feast on huge portions of classic Tex-Mex dishes: enchiladas, chimichangas, fajitas, tacos and burritos. Most notable, perhaps, are the refried beans --- too often they’re a pasty afterthought, but these look and taste like cooked-from-scratch pintos. Though it’s no longer under the same ownership as the original from which it draws its name, the restaurant’s quality remains intact, as do the super-size margaritas.
