THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Laslow's Northwest Restaurant Review:
This magnificently refurbished Victorian house, slightly off-the-beaten-23rd Avenue-track, offers a cozy and pleasant dining experience. The menu, changing seasonally, reflects Eric Laslows reverence for local ingredients and flair for French cooking---with an occasional nod to his Cuban heritage. Most patrons swoon over the pumpkin custard crab cakes; theyre light and the pumpkin seeds are worked ingeniously into the crab. Other standout dishes include braised lamb shank or grilled duck breast. Some experiments arent quite as successful, but the food is always inventive here, coupled with an excellent wine list. The servers are attentive and knowledgeable. Laslows is a marvelous spot for a memorable supper.
