THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Latin Quarter Restaurant Review: Elliott Jablonsky is one of the most creative restaurateurs in Cincinnati, and he scored another major success when he opened the delightful eatery Latin Quarter in the heart of the historic Mariemont section. It is a bistro, but with a Spanish and Latin American twist. The room is decorated with sophisticated art nouveau touches and has the real warmth of a modern cantina. The menu features grilled meats and seafood, as well as pasta, pizza and sandwiches. Each item is graced with special nuances that distinguish the dish, such as the Spanish jamón served with melon, and the maple-chile-glazed pork medallions. Tender rings of calamari are delicious, accented with zingy chorizo sausage to make an altogether great dish. The Key lime pie, actually done as an individual tart, is tops, and heads a short list of sweet endings.
