THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Latitude Food & Drink Restaurant Review:
Micah Willix, formerly executive chef at ECCO, offers a concise menu at this Phipps Plaza venture: duck breast with oyster mushrooms, bacon and shallots; ginger and Thai basil grilled bitter greens, crowned with a soft-poached egg; locally raised beefsteak with smoked potato and horseradish are among the flavors. For a sweet ending, consider the pumpkin pot de crème. The wine list includes over 60 old- and new-world selections chosen to pair with the menu; redesigned classic cocktails are also available. Atlanta designer Brian Watford has configured Latitude's welcoming space with globe-like chandeliers as well as tile wall treatments inset with transparent photography, all in warm tones of olive green and ecru. The 30-seat patio lies between a large water feature and urban garden design.
