 Laurel Court Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review: Located in the lobby of The Fairmont San Francisco, this restaurant serves as the centerpiece of the hotel. Sample from its menu of California-inspired creations such as braised lamb shank with creamy polenta, wild mushrooms and pearl onions or San Francisco cioppino with local crab, prawns, mussels and clams in a spicy tomato-Pernod broth. Steaks can be accompanied by sauces like bone marrow and red wine jus as well as sides of duck fat Lyonnaise potatoes.
