Laurelthirst Public House Restaurant Review

: Many of Portland's best alternative country and folk bands play in this cozy space, which offers an opportunity to hear quality music in an intimate, welcoming setting. There's lots of dancing, too. If hunger pangs strike, there's also decent bar food available that goes beyond fried snacks. Choose from the wide array of salads, a homemade veggie burger, or a bread bowl filled with beans and cheese or turkey chili. On weekends, people come and go all day, some lingering over breakfast with the newspaper, others enjoying a satisfying vegetarian lunch, shooting some pool with a pitcher of beer at their elbow. Another attraction is the changing selections on tap, plus hard cider.
