| Located in the Richmond neighborhood, this Mediterranean bistro is both comfortable and creative. Casual bar seating overlooks the bustling open kitchen and offers a good option for single diners. Friendly gatherings and dating twosomes populate the light and airy main dining room. Chef David Machado likes strong flavors, which is revealed through the always-appealing specials and standard dishes such as fried calamari served with a zingy, vibrant Portuguese piri piri dip, or a goat cheese-stuffed chicken breast accompanied by tangy quince sauce. Hearty seafood paella evokes memories of Spain, and we also recommend the thick burger, paired with crisp fries and aïoli. For dessert, dip a spoon into the Portuguese flan flavored with port.
