A spin-off of the 70-year-old Lawry's on L.A.'s Restaurant Row, this 600-seat, period-authentic Art Deco-style restaurant features prime rib carved to order tableside from silver warming carts. It is served with whipped cream horseradish, mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding presented in a mini-skillet. Lawry’s signature spinning bowl salad precedes all entrées which, to keep up with the times, also include a trio of Atlantic lobster tails with garden vegetables and Cabernet-sauced rib-eye steak with au gratin potatoes and crisp fried onions. Among other dinner accompaniments is a jumbo shrimp cocktail appetizer with spicy cocktail sauce. Save room for the signature dessert, English trifle. The 40-seat Vintage Room houses much of the 3,000-bottle collection of fine wines. Lawry’s lunch at its Ale & Sandwich Bar features a come-as-you-are dining experience and a quick-casual menu beginning with seasonal soups, hand-carved sandwiches and prime rib platters.
