 Le Tub Restaurant Review: This modern-day sailor's joint is in an old service-station-turned-casual hangout. Most patrons come by boat. Sit Intracoastalside in a tropical jungle for good seafood dishes, chili and meaty burgers that rank among the best in the country. Beer is more than a chaser, it's the main course. Dust-and-brine-covered patron pictures, license plates, fishing nets and ladies' underwear decorate the inside, while old bathtubs and toilets sit at the entrance. When South Florida nights turn chilly, it's an idyllic destination, thanks to an old wood-burning stove that still works. Serious lounge lizards of every age and persuasion hang here. |
