Located next door to its larger sister restaurant, this venue provides a Chinese menu that includes selections like a taro basket with vegetables and mushrooms, braised curry tofu, deep-fried moss in a rice wrapper, and stir-fried eggplant with oyster mushrooms. An off-the-menu specialty is the mock butterfish, made from tofu and wheat gluten. Order it braised in anything other than sweet-sour sauce, and see if you believe it's not real fish. |
