 Li Wah Restaurant Review: Though many AsiaTown restaurants offer dim sum, Li Wah is one of the best (and it’s a good place for dim sum rookies, too). In addition to an array of dim sum (our faves are the shrimp dumplings, chive cakes, sticky rice and the steamed barbecue pork buns), Li Wah also offers more elaborate mains. We like going with a large group --- mostly because there are too many dishes on the menu that we don’t want to miss. If you’re not in the mood for dim sum, we suggest the house special lo mein or roasted duck. For dessert, try the custard tarts: warm miniature pies with a flaky crust and eggy center. |
