Limoncello Fresh Italian Kitchen Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: An open feel is achieved via a high ceiling and a large black and white photograph of an Italian village sets the scene for the menu of Italian favorites. The 8,000-square-foot space is awash with earth tones of brown, beige and burnt orange. The restaurant's emphasis on freshness is evident through a case of fresh fish on ice in a prominent location in the dining room.
Food & Drinks: Highlights of the menu include grilled Spanish octopus with micro greens, fingerling potato, red onion and roasted pepper sauce; della nonna pizza with mozzarella, Italian sausage, shiitake mushroom and onion; stracci di mare fresh pasta with stacked layers of mussels, clams, shrimp, calamari and scallops in a cognac sauce; and traditional crème brûlée with custard, caramel and seasonal fruit. The fare is complemented by more than 100 wines mainly from Italy and California.
