THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Lincoln Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Lincoln is a bright space with big windows, concrete floors and exposed wood trusses. The concise, frequently changing menu is divided into small and large plates, although with the exception of the generous serving of roast chicken, differences between the two may prove hard to distinguish. Starters have included octopus with lentils and tonnato sauce, and beef tartare with bacon and green tomatoes. While rich meat dishes make a frequent appearance (think braised pork shank with polenta and mascarpone), the homemade pasta is well worth trying in various incarnations, such as the albacore bucatini with clams. The kitchen also evidences an imaginative hand with vegetables, such as the acorn squash matched with freekeh, spinach, beet and tahini. For dessert, go old-school and choose a hot fudge or caramel sundae or, at the height of the summer, a medley of figs, berries and cream. Cocktails are inventive and there’s a notable wine list, although it offers no bargains. Happy hour provides the opportunity to sample poutine with beef tongue ragù, or if you prefer, hand cut rosemary fries, at reduced prices. Staff is attentive and friendly.
