Link N Hops Restaurant Review

: This lively Atwater Village gourmet sausage gastropub can certainly hold its own in the wurst department, with exotics ranging from a smoky alligator andouille and wild boar with Marsala, to more refined rabbit with white wine and pheasant with Cognac. Lamb merguez is especially savory, and the classics --- like hot Italian or Bavarian bratwurst --- are solid. For the progressive Eastside, there are also six vegan versions ranging from smoked apple to spicy chipotle pepper. Tasty toasted bolillo buns are fresh-baked locally. Owner Andy Hasroun also has the wine bar 55 Degrees next door, so it’s not a surprise that the selection of 24 beers on tap is well curated. From Scottish ales, honey-scented Czech pilsners and refreshing witbiers to rich, dark porters and stouts, there’s room for exploration, and the bartenders are, well, beer geeks. Do ask them for tastings. The room is casually artsy with industrial stylings, and the mix of local families, couples and small hipster groups truly updates the traditional pub, as neighborhood folks meet and mingle with no pretentious scene.
