Loco Hombre Restaurant Review: The “Crazy Man” (Loco Hombre) was once Baltimore’s most sophisticated Mexican restaurant, the one that proved that fine dining and Mex weren’t mutually exclusive. In its latest incarnation, though, Loco Hombre has gone casual. Mexican food is still a focus, but think fajitas, nachos and burritos instead of serrano pepper-encrusted filet of salmon “painted” with crème fraîche. A variety of fresh-dough pizzas and a jaw-dropping 26 styles of burgers rule, but there are a few entrées, including a jumbo lump crab cake platter and a Creekstone Farms New York strip, for those in search of somewhat more highfalutin fare. |
