Lolita Restaurant Review: Unlike sister restaurant Lola's inventive Midwestern cuisine, Lolita draws on chef Michael Symon's Greek heritage. The menu includes pizza, pasta and a smattering of stick-to-your-ribs entrées. The pizzas are topped with prosciutto and asparagus, the bucatini sits beneath pulled pork, pancetta and organic egg yolk. Main courses include bone marrow crusted sirloin with red wine braised onions. Hanging in coolers throughout the restaurant, various sausages, salamis and whole-muscle meats cure until they're dry and immensely flavorful. Bits and slices appear in numerous dishes, adding depth and dimension. Among the limited dessert offerings, don’t miss the mint chocolate pot de crème. An expanded cocktail selection and notable wine list complement the thoughtfully arranged menu; enjoy your libations in the tiny, candlelit lounge just inside the entrance.
