Families choose Lone Star for the well-prepared, fairly-priced Prime steaks (filets, sirloins, T-bones) that they select themselves as well as the hefty designer burgers. Small appetites may be satisfied by soups, salads or appetizers, though everything here, including desserts, is big enough for at least two people to share. The ambience is faux-cowboy, enhanced by country music, neon beer signs and lots of other roadhouse touches. A low-priced kid’s menu means that the place is often full of families.
