| Owner-chef Tim Love dons a cowboy hat rather than a toque to prepare gussied-up versions of western and exotic favorites. You can go for the signature garlic-stuffed tenderloin or walk on the wild side and order the grilled New Zealand red deer chops with white truffled mac ‘n’ cheese, fried artichoke and lobster-mushroom demi. The crowd-pleasing grilled hanger steak is paired with lobster-shell bean succotash and crispy Swiss chard. Kangaroo, rabbit and rattlesnake figure among the more unusual offerings at this restaurant in the Stockyards National Historic District. A good wine list and assorted rustic artwork round out the enjoyable experience. |
