Los Ranchos Restaurant Review: Home of the wonderful, garlic-marinated center-cut tenderloin called Baby Churrasco, this family-oriented steakhouse takes pride in its smoky grills of beef, fish, seafood and poultry. The Nicaraguan version of rice and beans, gallo pinto, offers a welcome reprieve from Miami’s everyday black beans and rice. While its menu represents many Latin American cuisines, this boisterous food factory is exalted for excessive portions of truly authentic Nicaraguan specialties. The usual Latino desserts such as tres leches make an unimpressive appearance here. The wine list, too, dozes off---until you get to the selections from Spain, Chile and Argentina, all well represented at excellent prices. Service is generally courteous and professional.
