| Located in a nondescript strip mall just around the corner from Hillcrest’s hub, this Thai restaurant has a pleasing décor with a central flowing fountain and heavy teak tables and chairs. This is a locals’ spot, with only a few uptown tourists wandering in; just the sort of place for a cozy chat with a friend or a romantic rendezvous. The menu features starters such as taro rolls with silver noodles, black mushrooms, cabbage and ground pork, served with plum sauce. Try the lotus platter to get a taste of it all, which includes a combination of crispy spring rolls, lanna gyoza, chicken satay, lady finger and krathong-thong.
