| As the first establishment you see when entering Lake Hefner from Britton Road, Louie’s Grill & Bar beckons you to stop in to sip a designer martini from a picturesque vantage point. The bar stretches the length of the picture windows with big screen TVs mounted above. The buzzing nighttime atmosphere invites singles to gather and have a good time mingling at the bar or grabbing a table with friends. By day, Louie’s is much more family-friendly and a fine place to stop for lunch after a bike ride around the lake. Dig into deep-fried appetizers, burgers, deli sandwiches and wraps. The regulars like Louigi’s (Louie’s Italian cousin) pizza, particularly the Meat Lovers or the Ultimate Veggie. Note: The soup and salad selections do not bear a light touch. The only way to escape without overdoing the calories is to stick with the seafood platters of tilapia or grilled shrimp. The servers generally expect you to kick back and stay a while. |
