Louisiana Pizza Kitchen Restaurant Review: Although they share the same name, the two Louisiana Pizza Kitchens (the other one is in the French Quarter) are owned by separate companies. Still, that same wood-fired pizza that packs them in daily in the Quarter makes it tough to get a table many nights at the Uptown location. The vibe is different Uptown, which is more family friendly and frequented by many nearby university students. In addition to a killer pizza selection (try the four cheese or the roasted lamb), LPK has entrée-size salads that can all have chicken or salmon added, as well as a number of wraps, calzones and pasta dishes --- we like the artichoke ravioli. The wine selection is more extensive than you might expect, and for dessert LPK's tiramisu is legendary. On Wednesdays, LPK offers two-for-one drink specials, and during evening hours you may have to fight the good fight for a seat.
