THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lush Restaurant Review: Longtime vegetarian and confirmed vegan, Isaac Adelenge's upscale vegetarian restaurant also is entirely vegan. We like the basic flavor of the little dumplings, but frying toughens the dough. The chilaquiles are excellent, if a major departure from what that term typically denotes. In this case, you get a layering of eggplant, tortillas, soy cheese and a light red pepper sauce, a very satisfying dish. We have no argument with the dark chocolate ganache with its companion almond sorbet, made with soy milk, of course. Brunch on Sunday plays with tofu as an egg substitute. Launching the adequate wine list is a selection of organic wines by the glass, and one or two more by the bottle only are offered. The organic Lolonis Zinfandel is an ideal pairing with substantial, spicy dishes. A good selection of exotic teas, including infrequently seen rooibos from South Africa, soft drinks and juices make up a lengthy list of lead-free quaffs. The coffee---an organic Guatemalan---is superior.
