 This fine dining concept by Cameron Mitchell offers an eclectic menu that ventures far afield from the original Cameron's concept. Appetizers feature lobster, tuna and crab cones as well as mini Kobe burgers. Salads include baby beets on mixed greens with Humboldt Fog goat cheese. For a main course, we recommend the sea scallops served with asparagus, roasted tomato risotto and a citrus-y lemon emulsion or the more traditional steak frites, which evoke Parisian side streets. For dessert, go for the cake and ice cream---to be exact, a chocolate lava cake with hand-spun caramel ice cream. The wine list is extensive, featuring varietals largely from Europe and the American West Coast. M is too pricey to become a regular hangout for most people, but it can be a good choice for splurge dining.
