The Mad Hatter Restaurant Review: The name might be misleading. This is an intimate restaurant with a creative menu that changes monthly. There is also a very impressive view of the Gulf of Mexico to go along with the meal. Appetizers include sea cakes (mixed lump blue crab meat and crawfish accompanied by peppers with apple-pear compote, malanga chips and citrus beurre blanc) and the Mad Hatter duck taco. Entrées are more traditional---from beef tenderloin to rack of lamb and duck breast. Arctic char is a standout---horseradish mustard-crusted char served with Gorgonzola polenta cakes and roasted grape-tomato ratatouille with a lemon-thyme beef stock reduction. |
