Maha’s has a winning combination: great location and great food. In a 150-year-old house, this fine little café serves fresh, inventive dishes. For breakfast, besides coffeecakes and pastries, there are poi pancakes with coconut syrup. For lunch, try the Maha Had a Little Lamb sandwich on squaw bread, or the broiled fish on a bed of steamed taro, sweet potatoes and greens with a ginger vinaigrette.
