Malena's Taco Shop Restaurant Review: This authentic Mexican taco shop, independently-owned and located in lower Queen Anne, offers a no-nonsense menu for take-out or sidewalk dining. Carne asada tacos come topped with fresh guacamole and salsa, and served with rice and frijoles --- prepared stewed, not fried --- finished with a dollop of cheese. Other favorites include chicken and pork tamales, chile rellenos, and a robust chorizo burrito. Drinks range from fountain sodas to horchata. Service is speedy. |
