THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mangarosa Restaurant Review:
The popular Mangarosa has patrons packing in for the self-cooked hangar steak and other Brazilian tastes. On the appetizer side, think hearts of palm salad with a lovely citrus vinaigrette or a classic Caesar enlivened with a draping of fried anchovies. One don't-miss is the Brazilian-style cheese bread: crispy dough balls, stuffed with cheese and perfectly deep-fried. There is also a great selection of fish and poultry including a crispy chicken with ten-year-old balsamic vinegar. The Brazilian steak rechaud comes to the table just seared on a platter with a heat source underneath. The diner finishes the steak and then tops it with fried garlic chips or salsa. Side dishes are à la carte and include rapini with garlic and chili flakes, roasted potatoes or yucca fries. For dessert be sure to tap into the tropical tiramisu or mango crème brûlée.
