Marche Bacchus Restaurant Review: A massive wine shop leads guests to a romantic, dimly lit dining room and a tiered lake-view patio. Guests may purchase any of the wines in the shop for a mere $10 over the retail price to enjoy with their meal. Offered for lunch and dinner are platters to complement wine choices --- l'assiette de fromage (imported cheeses with artisan bread), l'assiette de charcuterie (pâté, French salami, prosciutto, rillettes, cornichon and quince paste), and the Bacchus grazer (cheeses, meats, lobster salad, smoked salmon, olives and fruit). Entrées include the tarte du jour. At dinnertime, French onion is the soup of choice. The signature lobster potpie is a big hit, as it contains a half-pound of Maine lobster, shiitake mushrooms, roasted tomatoes and lobster cream sauce under a puff pastry dome. For a traditional bistro dish, opt for the whole roasted poussin or the moules frites aromatic with Chardonnay, garlic and parsley. End your meal on a pleasantly sweet note with the tarte Tatin or the white chocolate mousse with candied almonds.
