THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Marco Polo Supper Club Restaurant Review:
It's not entirely clear if Marco Polo is best loved for its accessible Asian-meets-Italian food or its lively atmosphere, where boy-meets-girl on a nightly basis. The clubby décor features lots of teak and high-backed booths (good for canoodling). Don't miss the great bar and outdoor patio where Frank Sinatra oldies play softly in the background. The place is busy, so make reservations. Where else can you order a Chinese steamer filled with pot stickers, Marco Polo calamari or toasted ravioli (a St. Louis original) to start off your meal. Got the drift? You can mix and match cuisines. We suggest the stracciatella, the classic Italian wedding soup, and then the Shanghai broccoli steak, a New York strip steak grilled with fresh garlic in a hoisin-oyster sauce. Try the Marco Polo duck or any of the pasta dishes; you will not be disappointed. A bonus, there's dancing and entertainment.
