THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Mardi Gras Hotel Restaurant Restaurant Review

: Ensconced in a friendly inn a block from the Convention Center and three blocks from the Strip, this cozy restaurant and its 12-seat bar are draws for locals as well as visitors. Among breakfast sandwiches is the "filthy rich," with scrambled eggs, grilled ham and cheese on sourdough, accompanied by hash browns. Shrimp cocktail, quesadillas, Caesar salad, chili with cheddar and diced onions, and sandwiches such as the turkey club are staples, as is the Mardi Gras burger on a toasted sesame bun. Fish ā€˜nā€™ chips, chicken fried steak, meatloaf and pan-fried pork chops are served in hearty portions. Carrot cake, the house signature cheesecake and double chocolate cake come garnished with whipped cream.
