Margaritas' enduring appeal lies in its transformative powers. Once inside this Mexican restaurant and watering hole, the hassles of the day are quickly forgotten---even before you order a custom-made margarita featuring your choice of nearly two dozen tequilas. The relaxed and festive atmosphere and variety of available libations make up for the food which, at best, is run-of-the-mill Mexican fare. We're happiest when we stick to the basics such as enchiladas, burritos or one of the combination plates. Tio's Super Burrito is the right choice for big appetites. We've been disappointed in the fajitas but pleasantly surprised by selections that are not characteristically Mexican, such as the tangy pulled pork sandwich. If your agenda is drinks and snacks, appetizer selections are tasty and diverse. We always reach the bottom of our basket of free tortilla chips more quickly than expected thanks to the zesty flavor of the accompanying salsa.
