MARGAUX LIMITEE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR EXPANSION. What we all need is a small bistro to call our own. Margaux Limitee can be yours, but not for much longer before it's discovered. The small eatery in White Bear Lake is adding to the area's food renaissance, but with only 50 seats, it's doing its part in a subtle way. Margaret Doran used to run a lunch deli and catering service before deciding to jump in with Margaux. She now uses the skills she learned while working in Brussels and Chicago to create wonderful menus featuring escargots, bouillabaisse, and beef tenderloin. Her lunch menu is small, but changes daily with different soups and sandwiches. The wine list features some great finds, but not a lot of variety. Margaux is a great spot to take that special someone you want to impress, but call for reservations to assure your spot among the in-the-know.
