THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Maria's Roman Room Restaurant Review:

Maria’s has been a fixture at the same location for two generations. Known for a diverse selection of homemade pastas, the restaurant still makes its own noodles---as well its own pizza dough, salad dressings, meatballs and sauces---and offers a long list of toppings, including shrimp, mussels and other seafood and meat combinations. Meat dishes include veal and steak, but there’s a smattering of seafood options, sandwiches and salads as well. Some may find that Maria’s is different in recent years---higher prices, more airs---but the kitchen’s homemade touches are unmistakable. And the décor, while perhaps typical for Italian family restaurants (lots of grapevines and photos of the homeland), is comforting and quaint.
